With 14 years of experience as a lawyer in both public and private sectors, Kristiina started her career as a civil servant in the state health care system, and subsequently became an in-house lawyer in the health care services industry. She also gained experience as a lawyer with international law firms, and as the head of the legal department of the largest municipality of Estonia.
Based on her long-term experience, Kristiina has a broad and thorough understanding of administrative law and practice both at state and local municipal levels, including public procurement, EU law, contract negotiations and court disputes. She regularly advises and represents clients in commercial and M&A transactions, price regulation issues, competition and state aid, consumer credit, enforcement proceedings, and in dealings with the state or local municipalities. When practicing law with an Estonian law firm, she was actively involved in the largest merger in the Baltic States to date.
